Description

A note on Assignment Type: This position is currently listed as "Hybrid", however, the consultant will be remote due to COVID-19 related Work From Home (WFH) direction. Once the IT cluster staff are required to return to the office, the resource under this request will be required to work onsite as well.

 

A note on Extension/Amendment Attestation: Extension(s) only allowed using unused days/funds left on contract. No additional funds will be added beyond maximum contract value

 

The Ministry will be deploying this resource on a part time basis between the start and end dates mentioned above.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Detailing technical initiatives and related procurement and financial details for business cases; liaising with technical leads and translating tech requirements into business language; based on TRIP report back timelines.
  • Conducts business evaluation, develops performance measures related to the initiatives and related TRIP program deliverables; Monitors, tracks and reports to IT management.

 

General Skills:

 

  • Conducts requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes and conducts stakeholder engagement.
  • Develops strategies, prepares business cases and cost-benefit analysis, and conducts feasibility studies for business I&IT initiatives. Liaises with stakeholders.
  • Ongoing monitoring and reports to IT management.
  • Develops performance measures and traceability matrices for business analysis evaluation and conducts follow-up.
  • Conducts requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes and conducting stakeholder engagement.
  • Monitors progress, resolves problems and reports regularly to I&IT management and stakeholders.

Demonstrated experience developing strategies, preparing business cases and cost-benefit analysis: 30%

Experience conducting requirements gathering, developing documentation, including presentations and briefing notes:  20%
